Zebulon Turrentine, Executive Director Zebulon Turrentine is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer of Jamaica where he served in the Maroon district of Accompong. While there he facilitated the development of a small, sustainable wood carving business and worked to develop an eco-tourism product in the surrounding Cockpit Country. In addition to being the director of the Alliance, Zeb enjoys performing and teaching classical guitar and rock climbing throughout the Cumberland Plateau region. |

Jonathan Pierce, Outreach Intern Jonathan Pierce is a 23-year-old born in Ipswich England, but was raised in Morgan, Roane and Cumberland Counties where he developed a deep enjoyment for being outside. He is currently a senior majoring in news and editorial journalism with a focus in digital multi-media communications. He has written multiple articles, published online and in print, for Tennessee Technological University's student newspaper The Oracle, and has submitted multiple freelance articles to various publications including The Tennessean. He has worked in various job fields including tech support, entertainment and construction. His hobbies include photography, filling his apartment with books, rock climbing, and hiking. |
